Marc Apollonio is a journalist and podcaster producer, uncovering the stories that shape our world—from grassroots social movements to global economic shifts.

Marc Apollonio's journalism spans diverse subjects—from the refugee crisis affecting Myanmar nationals in Thailand's largest camp, to the lasting impacts of colonialism on First Nations youth in northern Ontario, to the New Space Race and its billionaire-driven vision of moving humanity "off planet."

During his tenure at CBC, Marc served as a general assignment reporter across four cities—Toronto, Montreal, Saskatoon, and Quebec City. He later spent years as a producer on the broadcaster's flagship current affairs program, The Current, and worked as story editor for Season 3 of the internationally acclaimed personal-narrative podcast, Alone: A Love Story, created by author and broadcaster Michelle Parise.

At Cited Media, as Managing Producer, Marc oversaw development and production of documentary-style podcast series. As lead producer on numerous episodes, he conducted deep research and reporting on the politics of scientific and technical expertise—covering topics ranging from the politics of behavioural genetics, to the intellectual history of sustainable development, to the current resurgence of industrial policy in the post-neoliberal era.
